Dr. Ryan Jackson Ryan is a physician, medical educator, and international humanitarian. He serves as a board member of Educate Girls Now and is Chief Operating Officer of a business which connects hospitals to medical schools for clinical education. His humanitarian work has spanned multiple countries; in 2010 he spent most of the year in Haiti coordinating medical volunteers, UN donations, preventive education, environmental restoration, and community support after the earthquake. He leads recurring medical service trips to Guatemala and has presented research on hemispheric futures, including at Rio+20 in 2012.
He will speak about his life helping people find hope and purpose after experiencing the tragedies associated with natural and man-made disasters.
