Arbor Day at Meiners Oaks Elementary School 2019

Ojai Rotarians and guests gathered at Meiners Oaks School to celebrate Arbor Day. Arbor Day in the United States was first celebrated by J. Sterling Morton on April 10h, 1872. The day is a celebration of the importaWnce of trees in our lives. We were entertained by the Kindergarten and 5th graders who presented their program. We then planted two trees. Many thanks to our hosts and food service for a wonderful day!
