Ojai Rotary Movie Night

“Get The Show On The Road” Our unstoppable Fifth Friday team hit it out of the park with a stellar “Movie Night In Your Car” event at Nordhoff HS on Friday, 7/31. We partnered with the City of Ojai, assisted by Bill Weirick, who facilitated a waiver of all city fees. The Ojai Unified School District allowed us to use the Nordhoff parking lot and provided restroom facilities and cleaning. Attendees were able to make donations to the OUSD Family Fund during the online ticketing process. President Michael Scar addressed the crowd with a welcoming opening and asked all to observe social distancing regulations. Key players who made it all happen were Betsy Watson, Suzanne Scar, Dierdre Daly, Tara Saylor, Cheree Edwards, Kathy Yee, and Therese Brown. The visionary parking plan was Mark Whitman’s brainstorm and design, and Mike Malone fearlessly got it into place, with help from Lisa Malone, Bryant Huber, Ron Wilson, and Christine Golden.
