In the Beginning...
Co-Presidents Bliss & Babayco welcomed club members and guests.
Dave Brubaker led the Pledge of Allegiance and Sue Gilbreth led the invocation:
As we gather here today as members of Rotary, I have some quotes from Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, whose pioneering work on the five stages of grief I so admire. From her compassionate work with people who were dying, in a seeming paradox, she learned, and taught us about in her writing, how to totally and completely live. One of the quotes I have today includes another way of phrasing our “Service Above Self” motto:
“There is within each one of us a potential for goodness beyond our imagining; for giving which seeks no reward; for listening without judgment; for loving unconditionally.”
― Elisabeth Kübler-Ross
“The ultimate lesson all of us have to learn is unconditional love, which includes not only others but ourselves as well.”
― Elisabeth Kübler-Ross

Sign up ahead of the date is required. Members pay for their own lunch. Signups start today and will also be available next week. Sign up board was passed to members.
We are limiting the number of members per restaurant based on availability.
