In the Beginning...
Bill Prather greeted us warmly as we zoomed in to join our meeting.
President Michael Scar called the meeting to order. Jennifer Barry led us in the flag salute and Frank Finck gave us a thoughtful invocation.
Visiting Rotarians and Guests
We welcomed Kevin Davis, our last week’s speaker, as our guest.
Bill Prather introduced him for Bret Bradigan (his sponsor).

Confessions and Fining
Fine Master, Colin Jones received a confession from Mike Weaver, who is celebrating his 53 wedding anniversary with Susan.
Colin asked 9 Rotarians to guess which President or Vice President were reported to have quoted some pretty ridiculous sayings. Because there were no multiple choices, all Rotarians now owe $$. Way to go Colin!
Program: Community Grant Recipients
Betsy Watson selected 3 of the Community Grants recipients to report on their youth projects:
Kathy Nolan is the board chair of The Ojai Valley Green Coalition.
This is Natasha Efross' second year teaching at Summit School.
She is also the co-founder of Rock Tree Sky, the enrichment program for independent study and homeschooled youth, which shares the campus with Summit School in Upper Ojai. Natasha has a passion for homesteading and regenerative agriculture. Youth were being taught how to cultivate mushrooms and then selling them at the Community Market.

Kim reported on The Townies Inc. Virtual Writers Room workshops held weekly to local youth.
She gave us an interactive exercise on how to create and accomplish our “Bucket List”.
Final Thoughts...
President Michael gave us a closing quote:
“The only two important things in life are real love and being at peace with yourself.”
