President Wendy gaveled the unruly mob of Rotarians and their guests to order.
We took in a preview of selections from Into the Woods as a musical appetizer, waiting for the main course. Many thanks to Andy Street (keyboards/Musical Director) and his crew.
Into the Woods, a Sondheim musical about fairy tale characters that answer the question: What happens to them after “they lived happily ever after? This OPAT production will take place at the Matilija Auditorium, July 26,27, 28 and August 2, 3, and 4.
Tickets are $40 for General Admission, $20 for students. Opening night VIP tickets for $125 include admission, parking, VIP seating, and entrance to the spectacular opening night party, catered by the incomparable Mike Gaidano.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Andy Gilman
Past President Bill Prather delivered the Inspirational Moment:
You will fail at some point in your life. Accept it. You will lose. You will embarrass yourself. You will suck at something. There is no doubt about it. I’m telling you to embrace it because it is inevitable, but if you fall, fall forward. Denzil Washington
As the Sondheim tunes graced the room, guests and Rotarians enjoyed the repast.
Thank-yous
