Cruel Kids—What Parents, Teachers, and Schools Can Do About It

Nick Thacher is a retired educator who spent most of his career on the East Coast as a head of school at the K-8 level.  He grew up in Ojai and is the younger brother of Ojai Rotarian Tony Thacher.  He and his wife Sally, who is a Congergational minister, live in Santa Barbara.  He is currently on the board of trustees of the Ojai Valley School as well as a consultant with Thacher and Marymount in Santa Barbara.  His list oif publications is impressive as is the list of 'nick' names given him by students and colleagues.
