Cal State Channel Islands School of Business - Vision for the Future

Cal Sate Channel Islands University is not only the newest and youngest of the California State System, but it is also a sleeping giant.  Come listen to Sue Andrjejewski, Dean of the School of Business, share her vision for the future and what has already been accomplished.  It is nothing short of amazing.  See you at the meeting!  Her bio is shown below for your reading pleasure!

Dr. Susan Andrzejewski is the Dean of the Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics. Dr. Andrzejewski believes that a robust business education requires an experiential, interdisciplinary, and inclusive educational framework, where students, faculty, staff, and industry partners come together to provide an education that will prepare students to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving workforce. Under her leadership, the Martin V. Smith School has moved several critical initiatives forward, including the development of the MVS School’s five-year Strategic Plan; launching new academic programs, including in the areas of Accounting, Business Analytics, and Digital Marketing; expanding experiential learning opportunities for students; expanding partnerships across the University and within the local community; and securing over $10.9 million in philanthropic support. Dr.  Andrzejewski is also leading the MVS School through the process of becoming AACSB accredited. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and hassling Jack Jacobs.

Sue received her doctorate in Social Psychology from Northeastern University and completed pre-doctoral training in the Marketing Departments at Babson College and Northeastern University. She also holds an M.S. in Social Psychology from Northeastern University and a B.S. in Psychology from Bethany College.
